This feather-shaped paddle reflects my journey towards reconciliation and grappling with the romanticized portrayal of First Nations culture perpetuated by the colonial narratives of my youth. An exploration of biomimicry, I explored canoe paddle hydrodynamics by emulating avian aerodynamics.
